Registration

The registration fee is $250.00 (+GST)

The Registration Desk is located in the PANPAC Foyer of the Napier Municipal Theatre. The Municipal Theatre is situated on Tennyson Street, Napier. The desk will be open at the following times:

Sunday 20 March 11:00am - 7:00pm
Monday 21 March 7:30am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 22 March 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 23 March 8:00am - 12:00pm

Conference Venues

1 Municipal Theatre - Tennyson Street, Napier.
  Exhibition Centre - Situated in the marquee pavilions adjacent to the Municipal Theatre.
2 War Memorial Centre - Marine Parade
3 Hawke's Bay Club - Corner Marine Parade and Browning Street

Car Parking

Car parking is available in the Napier City Council parking building adjacent to the Municipal Theatre, Tennyson Street.

Entertainment and Dining

Welcome Cocktail Party

Date: Monday 21 March
Location: PANPAC Foyer, Municipal Theatre
Time: 5.30pm - 7:00pm
Attire: Smart Casual or Business Dress

Optional Dinner in West Quay

Date: Monday 21 March
Location: Restaurants on West Quay - Shed 2, The Gin Trap, Provedore, and The Thirsty Whale
Time: From 7:00pm
Attire: At delegate's discretion.
Transport: Transport will run from the Municipal Theatre and West Quay during the evening
Cost: Dinner will be at Delegate's cost
Bookings: Essential - please note that many restaurants in Napier are closed on Monday night. The West Quay restaurants have been booked specially for conference delegates.

Conference Dinner

Date: Tuesday 22 March
Location: Church Road Winery, Church Road, Napier
Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
Attire: Smart Casual, Business Dress or Formal
Transport: Transport will run between the Municipal Theatre and Church Road
Ticket: Included in Full Registration only. Day registration will need to purchase a conference dinner ticket

Exhibition Centre

The Exhibition Centre will be housed in two pavilions. The lower pavilion will be open to both the general public and conference delegates. The upper pavilion will be for the exclusive use of conference delegates and will be the centre for all catering for the conference, with the exception of the conference dinner and cocktail party.

The exhibition centre will showcase:

  • Premier Sponsor/s exhibits
  • Several Major Regional Initiatives
  • Central & Local Government displays
  • Businesses involved in regional development in New Zealand
  • Farmers' market - a selection of local fare from Hawke's Bay 'Food & Wine Country'
  • Edible Art display from the Creative Hawke's Bay community

Internet Café

The Inertenet Café is on the mezzanine floor of the PanPac Foyer.
Access is via the stairs opposite the registration desk.

Media Centre

The venue for the Media centre is the Boardroom on the lower level of the War Memorial Centre.

Medical Services

Emergency medical services are available at City Medical, Wellesley Road, Napier. Ph 835 4999.

Messages

Messages will be displayed on the message and information board by the Registration Desk.

Mobile Phones

Out of respect for speakers and other participants, please ensure mobile phones are switched off while you are attending the sessions.

Name Badges

As a security requirement, delegates are required to wear their Conference name badges to all sessions and social functions.

Please note - no name badge, no entry.

Refreshments

All catering breaks (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) are included in your registration fee and will be provided in the Exhibition Pavilions.

The Conference Dinner on Tuesday 22 March is included in the Full Registration Fee only. Delegates registering on a Day Registration that want to attend the conference dinner or cocktail party will need to purchase a ticket.

Smoking

All conference venues are smoke-free. Delegates are expected to observe this policy.

Special Requirements

If you have advised any special dietary requirements on your registration form, these will have been forwarded to the caterers. If you have any questions, please ask at the Registration Desk.

Transport

All conference venues are within 5 minutes walk of each other. Suitable transport will be arranged if weather conditions dictate. If you have special transportation needs please email regdev@avenues.co.nz.

Transport between the Municipal Theatre and the Conference Dinner will be arranged free of charge to the delegates. A timetable for this transport will be available at the registration desk.

Other transport can be arranged through the Napier Taxi company on (06) 835 7777. Please note that this will be at the delegate's own cost.
