Regional Development Conference

21 - 23 March 2005
Municipal Theatre & War Memorial Centre, Napier, Hawke's Bay

Since the inaugural Regional Development Conference in Rotorua in 2001, great progress has been made in identifying the individual strengths of New Zealand regions and building their vision for the future.

The theme of the 2005 Regional Development Conference will be that of shared ownership of regional development issues and outcomes, with a strong emphasis on the practical steps we can take to ensure New Zealand has a positive future in a changing international environment:

  • Our Future - challenges and opportunities for regional New Zealand
  • Our Potential - untapped regional resources, skills and talents
  • Our Choices - regional development leadership and partnership in action

Through a carefully selected programme of plenary and breakout sessions, case studies and workshops, delegates will have the opportunity to learn, network, consult and work with other key players in regional development, partnering to influence future outcomes.

Join us for a stimulating conference and a memorable Hawke's Bay experience.

For further information on registering for the conference, email: regdev@avenues.co.nz.

Registrations open on November 1 2004. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
