About this Website

This website is the permanent website for an on-going series of Regional Development Conferences, co-ordinated by the Ministry of Economic Development in partnership with key stakeholder groups.

It was originally set up in August 2001 for the inaugural New Zealand Regional Development Conference which was held in Rotorua. Information regarding programme content and speakers for this and the subsequent conference, held in Timaru in 2003, can be accessed through the menu buttons to the left.

The next Regional Development Conference will take place in:
